Keaton and Maegan Merrell had a beautiful reception at Northampton house on September 22nd. The Ellis family went all out to make the evening memorable and beautiful.

Every corner of the Courtyard room was filled with food, activities, and laughter. Candy counters, veggies and dip, and a photo booth.

 The bride and groom played the shoe game - answering questions everywhere from, "who is more likely to get a speeding ticket," to "who will change the dirty diapers when you have kids."

Steel & Browne

I guess you could say Braden Steel stole Kathryn's heart. This darling couple had both their wedding luncheon and their reception at Northampton House. They were wonderful to work with and their pictures here are stunning!

For their luncheon they had our Mexican Style Taco Salad Bar with tortillas, black beans, cilantro lime rice, lettuce, grilled chicken, tomatoes, corn, cojita cheese, cilantro, and creamy jalapeno dressing. It was delicious.

Family members shared memories of Braden and Kathryn as they were growing up. My favorite story was from the bride herself. She told the story of their engagement - while they had been getting to know one another Braden had made wishes on pennies, "I wish that we could date," "I wish that she would love me," "I wish that she could be mine forever," and when he proposed he gave her the very pennies that he had made these wishes on.

Cheyenne & Kurtis

Kurtis and Cheyenne Brimhall celebrated their first day of marriage at Northampton House. They had a receiving line for the first hour and a half and then cut their cake and tossed the bouquet. The rest of the reception was spent dancing with the lights dimmed to their favorite songs!

The room was decorated with quotes, live flowers, and antique lanterns. The Wright family had everything put together beautifully!

Northampton House catered soft taco salads, they taste delicious: Soft tortillas, fresh cilantro lime rice, re-fried pinto beans, sweet shredded pork, lettuce, sour cream, olives, pico de gallo, and cojita cheese! Writing about it makes my mouth water.

Lamoureux & Norman

Megan and Kevin were awesome to have here. They had a reception schedule full of performances and events.

My favorite part of the evening was when Megan's family got together and sang different love songs with the new couple. Specifically "Kiss the Girl" - every time they sang the phrase "kiss the girl" the groom would kiss his new wife!

The Bride and Groom had cheesecake served at their reception. Their wedding cake was also a chocolate crusted cheesecake.

Parker & Mooney

Congratulations Krista and Patrick! These two held their ceremony and shared their wedding vows on September 17th. It was a beautiful ceremony in the Somerset room, followed by their reception in the Courtyard gardens.

Krista's dress was gorgeous! This is a bride who can pull off ruffles.

Th Courtyard room was decked out in plum and orange and the couple had Cafe Rio cater.

Abigail and Michael

Abigail Evans and Michael Burggraf held their reception at Northampton House last Friday in the Somerset room. The Evans came all the way from Virginia for the wedding. They had fresh floral arrangements and a beautiful catering display. Abigail wanted to have a spread of autumn colors in the room.

The couple's cake was two budnt cakes stacked on top of each other.
