Karlee & Kevin

Karlee had her ceremony here on May 21st. Karlee married Kevin Griffin in front of our large stained glass window, where they exchanged vows and rings. Karlee had the stairway as well as the aisle decorated with life flowers.

The couple followed their ceremony with pictures in the garden and their reception. It was a gorgeous day!

For the reception Northampton House catered Hors D'oeuvres for the reception: Ginger teriyaki chicken skewers, raspberry cream cheese crepes, and brochette topped with herbed cheese, tomatoes, and fresh basil. As well as our luscious apple berry salad with a fresh strawberry vinaigrette.

The couple finished the night off sharing their first dance as newlyweds while their family blew bubbles around them. It was very romantic!

The Herron & Hanson Wedding

I got to spend two days with McKayla and Alex! They had their rehearsal dinner here the night before they got married and then had their reception the night after. I told them I had to get pictures of them both nights so that I would have before and after pictures.

Alex's mother is an event planner and she made all the centerpieces for the dinner and decorated the room. She even printed out menus to put at each place setting so that each guest new what would be served. For dinner they had our Classic Italian Pasta Bar: fresh garden salad, fettuccine and ziti pastas, marinara and Alfredo sauce, sauteed vegetables, and grilled chicken. Served with large Parmesan bread sticks. Don't forget dessert: your choice of Moist Chocolate cake plated and served with house made salted caramel, or Italian lemon pound cake with fresh raspberry sauce.

The new Mr & Mrs Herron returned Saturday evening for their reception. They had roses strung along the banister of the stairway and water lilies floating in bowls on the tables. She is my first bride to bring live water lilies to a reception! At the end of the evening Alex got out his guitar and played a song he had made for McKayla. It was a fantastic way to end the evening and I am so glad I got to meet these two!

The Gauchay Luncheon

Andrea and Chaz had their luncheon here on May 19th. They made a grand entrance down the Somerset split staircase to applause as the new "Mr and Mrs Gauchay!"

We served a plated three course meal beginning with pre-plated spinach salad tossed with apples, pecans and crumbled feta and topped with our fresh strawberry vinaigrette. The main course was a crusted Parmesan chicken breast drizzled with our house made sun-dried tomato balsamic reduction; served with sauteed green beans, herbed focaccia bread, and rosemary roasted potatoes. Dessert was rich chocolate brownies served with chocolate sauce. The food was great, and the couple was adorable!

Congratulations Chaz and Andrea!

Wes & Kassie Talbot

Wes and Kassie tied the knot on May 19th and shared three hours of their special day with us at Northampton House! They had one-hundred and six guests for their luncheon in our Courtyard room.

We served a choice of tender baked chicken breast topped with our house-made honey mustard sauce, or fresh salmon with orange herb glaze, with our garden salad (fresh chopped Romain lettuce, cherry tomatoes, English cucumbers, sliced olives, and crumbled feta cheese), sauteed green beans, rosemary roasted potatoes, and house rolls. They finished off the meal with Italian lemon pound cake with raspberry sauce! Yes please!

These two are headed off to Cancun to spend a lovely week together on a warm beach!

Fry & Pope

Brady Fry and Hunter Pope got married this Saturday! They had their reception at Northampton House in the garden and Courtyard room. Their receiving line was set up out in the garden area and they got some gorgeous shots with the gazebo and all the greenery and flowers!

The reception was catered by Whisked Away and all the desserts, including the wedding cake, were gluten free since the bride has celiacs. That way she was able to enjoy all of her food and have a wonderful night.

They are a great couple!
