Epilepsy Association of Utah

The Epilepsy Association of Utah had their annual awards dinner at Northampton House last Saturday. The program recognized volunteers and donators who have helped his company to succeed and grow.

The program included live music, a silent auction, and a plated dinner.


Northampton House served a full three course meal, beginning with plated salads. The main course was garlic mashed potatoes, sauteed zucchini and yellow squash, and tender, slow-cooked ribeye topped with au jus and creamy horse radish sauce. Italian Lemon Pound Cake with raspberry sauce and whipped cream and pumpkin spice cake with cream cheese frosting and candied pecans was served for dessert.

Gabby and Joshua

Congratulations to Gabby Hanson and Joshua Tate - they were married on October 21st! They had a ring ceremony on the ballroom floor at 5:30, followed by a reception at 6pm. Gabby's colors were charcoal and dusty rose - the groom sported a lovely burgundy charcoal suit.

Congratulations to these two, almost all the pictures I have of them they are laughing together!

Proctor & Weiss

The Proctor family had their wedding breakfast in the Somerset room. They had a beautiful program with speeches and a toast made with small coke shot glasses (an inside joke). Family members had lots of stories to tell and memories to share.


The room was decorated in ivory and burgundy. Northampton House served our classic breakfast buffet: scrambled eggs, bacon, breakfast potatoes, and french toast with maple syrup, buttermilk syrup, and fresh mixed berry syrup.

Stucki & Payne

Tanner and his new wife, Kenzie, celebrated the beginning of a life together. They had a wedding luncheon in Somerset room. Tanner's mother had a darling hand crafted banner she made for the couple. Kenzie picked autumn colors for the wedding: pastel blue, orange, and brown.


Northampton House served honey Dijon chicken, roasted red potatoes, green beans, garden salad, and triple chocolate budnt cake.

Harrison & Kinney

Jenny Harrison and her fiance Craig had a beautiful ceremony and wedding luncheon in the Courtyard room. Jenny dressed in light pink and looked perfectly stunning.


After their ceremony the couple took pictures in the autumn kissed gardens and then came inside for a luncheon.


Northampton House served Honey & Dijon glazed chicken and Tomato Mushroom smothered chicken, served with sides of apple berry salad, garlic mashed potatoes, steamed vegetables, and apple cinnamon budnt cake.




Jenny and Craig had a beautiful cupcake tower topped with their cake.

BYU Homecoming Dance

Northampton House was happy to host BYU's semi-formal Homecoming Dance of 2016.

We had refreshments and a live band in the Somerset room for ballroom dancing and mingling. Cody McKinnon performed accompanied by live piano music. We had waltzes, fox trots, and lots of cha-cha.


The DJ set up in Courtyard with disco lighting and party music.


The colors for the evening where red, white and, blue.

Dickson & Szoke

Scott and Heidi were a delight to have at Northampton House last Saturday.The bride and groom are both musicians and we had a lot of live music for their wedding.

The couple had a luncheon and program in the Somerset venue. They ordered lemon creme chicken, fresh garden salad, rosemary roasted potatoes and sauteed green beans. Triple Chocolate Budnt cake was served for dessert. The bride and groom sang a duet accompanied by the baby grand piano.

























The autumn garden was perfect for pictures between their luncheon and reception. There are some beautiful sunset pictures.



 The wedding cake was gorgeous. Soft pink roses shaped out of frosting covered the beautiful white cake, they were so perfect they almost looked real!


The couple had a live string quartet perform for their reception. Northampton House catered Italian Sodas and dessert bars: Raspberry Shortbread, Meyer Lemon Bars, and Chocolate Pretzel Bites. These two are off to the Caribbean for their honeymoon!

Gilles Memorial

Alison Gilles had a memorial for her husband on September 30th. She had the memorial in the garden because her late husband loved the outdoors. The family set up a slideshow and light buffet and were able to enjoy a program together with friends and relatives.
