Wilson & Pratt

I got to spend an entire day with this lovely couple; first for their rehearsal dinner and again for their reception!

For the dinner the room was decorated with light blue table runners and chair ties. The couple brought live floral centerpieces with soft pink and white. The family had our Classic Italian Pasta Bar with fresh bread sticks and Lemon Italian Budnt Cake for dessert.

The family threw a toast to the new couple and gave speeches.

The family then moved from the Courtyard venue to Somerset for the reception. Mandy and Russell had a fingerprint sign in and a blue mailbox set out for cards. It was a happy, light hearted repetition. Congratulations to the Wilsons!

Ivie and Stephens

Robbin Ivie and Jeff Stephens held their wedding luncheon in our Courtyard room after their marriage on June 28th. Their father's took turns telling stories about their newly married children and Robbin performed a musical number from Shrek the musical.

Northampton catered Dijon and honey glazed chicken with roasted potatoes and sauteed green beans. Dessert was Italian Lemon Pound Cake with raspberry sauce or Butter Cake with a warm butterscotch.

Robbin got some gorgeous shots in her wedding dress on the Courtyard staircase.

Ten Year Anniversary

Yuko and her sweetheart were married at Northampton House ten years ago! They returned on June 27th to celebrate their ten year anniversary. After an entire decade Yuko wore the same yellow dress that she wore at her reception and they took pictures with their four children on the Somerset staircase.

The couple ordered prime rib with horseradish sauce, garlic mashed potatoes, sauteed green beans, and house rolls. We served raspberry cheesecake for dessert.

Wishing the Yorigami family many more decades of happiness and success!

Rasmussen & Shumway

McKell and Cameron had a large luncheon in our Somerset room. The couple did not have an evening reception and so McKell wanted to make sure that everything about their luncheon was perfect!

Mr. and Mrs. Shumway had a lot of creative ideas for their reception - a donut wedding cake, puzzle piece sign in, and wooden engraved spoons served with their dessert. The room was splayed with fresh daisies and gold. The couple also opened gifts while they were at Northampton House and cut the top layer of their cake.

Northampton House catered gourmet hamburger sliders with a choice of french fries or sweet potato fries, a fresh fruit display, and salad. Coconut and salted caramel gelato was served for dessert with the couples engraved spoons.

Danika and Mike Forsyth

Danika and Mike held their reception at Northampton House on June 24th. Danika wanted a low-key reception where she could visit with her guests and enjoy the evening. She is one of the happiest, most amiable brides I have had the pleasure to work with!

Northampton House catered our Sweet Crepe Bar with fresh made crepes filled with custard strawberries, and brownies bites. Topped with Nutella, dulce de leche, and whipped cream.

Mr. and Mrs. Pfister

Lindsey and Thomas tied the knot last Friday! They celebrated at Northampton House with laughter, dancing, and snow cones. They had a beautiful garden reception out in our formal garden space. It was perfect weather for an outdoor reception.

Salcido & Craft

Yvonne and Stan were married on June 23rd, 2016. They had a dinner at Northampton House which also served as their reception. Northampton House served Dijon and honey glazed chicken with our signature Italian Lemon Pound Cake with raspberry sauce for dessert. Their family and friends put on a beautiful program for them.

Yvonne had a tiny buttercream cake made so that she and Stan could have a cake cutting and they had their first dance out on the Courtyard ballroom.

The new couple left through a tunnel of well wishers for their send off.

Ruble & Hannemann

Natasha and Kyle had a beautiful ceremony in our Somerset room on June 18th. Noah, the bride's brother, played live guitar music for the bridal procession.

Pastor Erick Nelson married them in front of the large stained glass windows and they exchanged vows to one another. As the ceremony finished Kyle scooped his new bride up in his arms and carried her down the aisle and up the stairway!

The couple followed their ceremony with a reception in the Courtyard room. The groom's family celebrated Hawaii style with a luau. The buffet table was stuffed with kalua pork, teriyaki chicken and rice.

As well as cutting the cake together and sharing a first dance (the bride's father and brother played guitar for the first dance), the bride also performed a traditional Hawaiian money dance at the end of the night.

I'm sure these two are off to many wonderful adventures - Congratulations to Mr & Mrs Hannemann!

Kayla & Colby

This bride and groom showed up to their dinner before any of their guests so they could make sure
everything in the room was set up and ready to go. They are some of the kindest and most curious couples I have worked with.

The bride's colors were navy blue and creamsickle orange and the cake was decorated vibrantly.

The bride and groom chose our split menu for their guests so they could choose between our balsamic marinated pork tenderloin topped with a pomegranate reduction or tender herbed chicken drizzled with creamy caper sauce. Served with a fresh garden salad, steamed rice pilaf, brown sugar glazed carrots, house rolls, and lemonade. For dessert they served deep chocolate budnt cake with salted caramel and fudge brownies.
