Jayla & Landon

Jayla Steed and Landon Ashton exchanged vows here on June 3rd, 2016. It was a beautiful ceremony with a pianist playing classical music for the bridal procession. The bride entered the room dressed in white to the beautiful notes of Clair De Lune. The Somerset room was decorated with live flowers down the aisle and large floral centerpieces framing the stained glass windows.

The Groom's mother went all out for the ceremony and the subsequent luncheon. She decorated the bride's room with gifts. For the luncheon each seat had a place setting with a program and mints set out - with the catch phrase "mint to be." The bridal party ate, laughed, gave advice, and offered toasts.

Much laughter and love to the new Mr and Mrs Ashton!

For the luncheon Northampton House served a fresh spinach salad with strawberry vinigarette, Honey-Mustard glazed chicken, sauteed zucchini and yellow squash, rosemary roasted potatoes, house rolls, and chewy chocolate brownies for dessert. The bride asked for a vegetarian meal and so we served creamy quinoa stuffed portabello mushrooms with wilted spinach.
