Black + Barlow

Sarah and Michael were married in the Salt Lake Temple on March 26th. They had their groom's luncheon here followed by their reception. Michael and Sarah were fun to meet and work with. They are kind and thoughtful and I loved watching them together. I am so excited for these two!

The luncheon was a three course meal, beginning with pre-set spinach and feta salad, followed by crusted Parmesan chicken topped with a balsamic tomato glaze, roasted garlic potatoes, and sweet glazed carrots. Followed by fresh made brownies topped with boysenberry berry ice-cream. Yum!

The flower girls were darling! They both had perfect ringlets and frilly pink dresses, and of course baskets with silk flower petals in them to top it all off.

For their reception we had Craig Kaelin playing live music on the piano. His music was excellent!

Choir Filming

We had the American Heritage Youth Chorus here filming for a music video on Monday. The concert choir set up in our Somerset room and sang in front of our large stained glass windows, directed by Rob Swenson. Their songs were beautiful and I am excited to see the video when it comes out!

We also had the American Heritage Children's Choir here. They set up in the Courtyard room for their filming, directed by Cheri Hancock. It was a busy day, but very rewarding!

Mr and Mrs McIntosh

March 12, 2016. That is the day that Breanna and Josh tied the knot! The reception was a blast - they had all the fixings for an excellent night. To start things off there was a photo booth bus parked in front of the entrance. A DJ set up next to the dance floor for interactive music. And a fruit flavored cheesecake display since Breanna chose to have cheesecake as her wedding cake.

The bride and groom were a lot of fun - as were the many bride's maids and groom's men. Breanna also had a live action crepe bar. Fresh crepes filed with raspberries, custard, hot fudge and whipped cream.

I'm sure these two will have a lot of laughter and good times in the coming years! Congratulations to the new McIntoshs.

Lunch with the Mortensens

Becca and Josh had their wedding luncheon at Northampton House on Saturday. I got to announce the bride and groom's arrival and they made a grant entrance down the Somerset staircase.

The head table was framed by our gorgeous stained glass window and the family brought blue iris centerpieces for each table.

What was on the menu? Grilled skirt steak and BBQ peach glaze, rosemary roasted potatoes, cornbread stuffing, and sauteed zucchini and yellow squash. We also had our fantastic Parmesan breadsticks! Dessert was your choice or Raspberry Swirl Cheesecake or Double Chocolate Cheesecake. Everything looked amazing.

During dinner the family had Josh Wright play piano music in the background. It was a very nice event!

The family also got to take some great shots around Northampton House.

Mr & Mrs Smith

The Smith's had their wedding luncheon here on March 10th. We served honey-mustard chicken, sauteed green beans, rosemary roasted potatoes, and house brownies for dessert! The food tasted great and the bride and groom were awesome to work with.

The MacDonalds

Alexis Hall married Caleb MacDonald today in front of the large stained glass windows in our Somerset room. They had a sunflower themed ceremony and reception. The isle was decorated with yellow sunflowers and so was the wedding cake!

The couple shared their first dance to a favorite country song.
