Dorrough & Patrick

Kristina and Joshua had their marriage ceremony here on July 25th. They were married in the Somerset room, followed by a luncheon and reception in the Courtyard room. The bride's colors were Burgendy, blush, and ivory - it was a gorgeous color scheme.

Northampton House put out a beautiful spread for the luncheon: apple berry salad with a fresh strawberry vinaigrette,  house made potato salad, juicy watermelon, and a build your own sandwich station.

The Patricks had their receiving line outside in the formal garden area and afterward they came inside to have their cake cutting and first dance on the Courtyard ballroom.

Northampton House served Italian Sodas and shortbread cookies for the reception. Every flavor from Lime and Peach to Irish Cream!

Kristina's cake was gorgeous. This four layered masterpiece is completely edible, from the perfectly smooth fondant, to the icing lace, to the floral decor, to the gold plating. Shout out to Jeannie Prete for making this masterpiece.

Taylor & Lichtenstein

Aria and Daniel's reception was a party! Dancing, laughter, and deep red lipstick.

The Taylor family took advantage of the baby grand piano in the Somerset room. We had performances from Aria's grandmother, mother, sister, and brother. So much talent. I loved all the live music!

Aria and Daniel cut their cake, not with a cake cutting set, but with a dagger. Pause for effect. The cake was a work of art. Thick white fondant, hand decorated with twisting green vines and delicate frosting rose petals.

Northampton House catered our decadent dessert bars: Raspberry Shortbread, White Chocolate Blondies, and S'more Chocolate.

The family had dancing and toasts and beautiful piano performances. After the bride and groom had left, the bride's brother ended the evening by playing Pirates of the Caribbean while everyone collected picture frames and gifts.

Dean & Sutherland

Ashley and Daniel are ballroom dancers. They are on the touring ballroom team at BYU and Northampton House was lucky enough to have them here for an evening reception after their marriage. The couple were able to perform a beautiful first dance on the ballroom floor and enjoy a wonderful evening.

The bride and groom met for the first time in preschool and the childhood crush never wore off! The reception venue was decorated with pictures of this darling couple!

The couple had fireworks for their send of since they were married four days after Pioneer Day.

Kellerman and Caldwell

Sabrina and Wyatt tied the knot on July 21st. They had a small ring ceremony in the Courtyard room followed by their reception 6:30-8:30pm.

Sabrina had a darling reception set up - from her centerpieces to her cake. Glowing mason jar centerpieces, accented with picture and picture frame. Her cake was a white un-frosted cake, with strawberry filling and floral decor.

Since Sabrina is a summer bride she wanted her reception food to be cool and summery. Northampton House served fruit parfaits, white sheet cake with lemon frosting, cold fruit infused water (watermelon mint and strawberry lemon), and chocolate coated pretzels. The parfaits were so cute!

To Mr & Mrs Caldwell!

Mr and Mrs Huynh

Congratulations Nicole and Mark! This lovely couple was here on July 20th celebrating their marriage at a rehearsal dinner in our Somerset Venue. Northampton House set out white brocade table linens, silver centerpieces, and played Buble & Sinatra in the background.

The family enjoyed a tender sliced beef roast, rosemary roasted potatoes, sauteed green beans, apple berry salad with a fresh strawberry vinaigrette, house rolls, and apple cinnamon budnt cake with caramel sauce.

The couple had a beautiful live number performed for them.

Nicole's brother was here earlier this year for their rehearsal dinner as well. I got a picture of Mr & Mrs Porter. It was fun to see them again!

Mr & Mrs Lenhart

Stephanie and Daniel were such a fun couple to meet! A scholarly bride - from her reception centerpieces (old books tied together with ribbon) to her favorite quotes scattered around the Courtyard venue and garden you can tell this bride loves books and language.

The couple had Italian Sodas and a table full of good food! They had a photo booth and even a kid's corner set up in the garden gazebo so that the children would feel involved.

Leong & Gallagher

Laura Leong and her fiance Patrick were here on July 16th. They had a ring ceremony in the Somerset room in front of the large stained glass windows, followed by a luncheon. Laura's daughter and some friends performed a musical number before Laura and Patrick shared their vows.

Northampton House catered sour dough sandwiches: turkey and Havarti with basil aioli, and ham and Swiss with Cajun aioli, BLT macaroni salad, apple berry salad, and fresh chocolate chip cookies.
